This small town is very well connected via road in other major towns in Tamil Nadu. Few years ago it was very well connected via trains from Chennai to Rameshwaram and Karaikudi but now its totally disconnected due to ignorance of Tamil Nadu/Indian government and selfish political leaders. Adirampattinam is well educated town with lots of literates working in multi national companies in india and abroad.

Changes: Adirampattinam is located on 10.20°N 79.24°E[2] on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. Being close to the equator, Adirampattinam enjoys Tropical wet and dry climate. Summer prevails in the months of April and May, while days in mid-May are the hottest (Agni) period during an year - with temperatures regularly reaching 100 °F. December and January are winter months, with temperatures dropping to 17 °C. Monsoon occurs in October and November.
